Welcome!

We are so glad you are considering Penn State’s College of Engineering (COE). We are the Engineering Ambassadors, and it is our hope to introduce you to the world of engineering (and beyond) that Penn State has to offer. From a reputable engineering curriculum with over 10 departments, and extensive research facilities, to a diverse student population, over 30 Engineering Student Organizations, and a beautiful campus, Penn State’s College of Engineering has everything a student could dream of. Furthermore, the COE offers a small college feeling, within the larger university.

Whether you are a High School Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior, it is never too early (or late) to think about your future. Engineering is a great segue into almost any career; industry, business, medicine, law etc. We will be constantly updating our website with events, videos, information on Penn State and the College of Engineering and more. Are you interested in visiting our campus? Contact the College of Engineering and register for one of our upcoming campus tours. The Engineering Ambassadors also do High School visits. If you would like us to come to your school, have one of your teachers contact us!

We want to help guide future engineering students into their respective engineering interests. Do you want to learn more about the Ambassadors? Go to the “Ambassador Profiles” tab and meet every member. Make sure to read about their engineering interests and the different experiences each has had. Our Video and Photo teams are hard at work to produce webisodes to give you a better feeling of what it is like to be an engineering student at Penn State. If you’ve got a question, post on our wall and one of the Ambassadors will get back to you. Be on the look out for our next blog entries.
